Walking Funny
If we had bruises on our feet we would walk rather strangely to avoid putting pressure on our wounds and triggering the pain of them. Most people don't even realise that they are walking pretty funny psychologically.

Impatience with Challenging Emotions
If one simply observes the physical sensations of an emotion they will find that those are eminently tolerable. The biggest problem is not the emotion itself, which is fine, but the restlessness towards the emotion and desire to be rid of it. How to resolve the issue of restlessness? Agree to enjoy being restless and let it run itself out.

True Healing
Healing, on the psychological level, is the product of a new dimension of consciousness being allowed to enter into the organism. It is not really new. It could said, rather, that it is a return to the original state of consciousness of the body and the mind before the psyche was wounded, but with a difference. If you went back to the way you were before being wounded you would be no better off than when you started, you would be just as vulnerable as you were as a child. That wouldn't be much good when faced with the challenges that all adults are bound to have to face. It is fortunate, therefore, that the psyche is anti-fragile. "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger" is a phrase that is not necessarily true on the physical level, but it will hold true on the psychological level on one condition. You have to recover from your psychological wounds. Until you do that, your wounds will weigh you down, sap your motivation, make you quick to temper, weak, and avoidant of life situations that remind your unconscious of the original event that traumatised you. You don't need to do anything to experience true healing except get out the way. The only reason its hard it that you don't know what to stop doing yet.

Becoming More Resilient and Opening Up to Life
The psyche is anti-fragile. Take the psyche to the gym by observing your comfort zone and exceeding it ever so slightly several times a day. This requires intense awareness of the present moment and all of your emotional states. Observing your emotions in your body will heal you, more has been written on how to do this previously.
